For this Springy/Easter season, we welcome Julie Campbell as our Guest Designer. We are so happy to have Julie join us and share with us her inspiring projects for this colorful season.  For her projects, Julie worked with products found in the Retro Easter vintage kit, Bingo Craft Cards and Twirly Twine.  Ribbon from the Aqua Ribbon Card also adds some colorful texture.

Hi!  My name is Julie Campbell and I’m so thrilled to be a Guest Designer for Vintage Street Market this month!  I live on the beautiful central coast of California with my husband and two high school aged daughters.  My oldest daughter is a college grad and an elementary school teacher–so proud of her!  There’s absolutely nothing I love more than vintage–vintage everything!  From the family heirlooms I’ve been given to hitting every yard sale in my area each Saturday, I’m hooked!  But my favorite thing of all is to create things with vintage or retro style, so Vintage Street Market makes me very, very happy!
I had so much fun coming up with a few Easter-themed projects this month…all easy peasy as can be and loaded with vintage goodness!
First, a sweet little jar filled with pretty pastel candies–just perfect to share with someone special this Easter season.  I used some lovely aqua crepe paper from the Aqua Ribbon Card to wrap around the jar, topped with an adorable, miniature Bingo card from the Bingo Craft Card set and one of the precious paper doll girls from the Family Fun Paper Kit. The Pink and Aqua Twirly Twine sets were both used for the “For You” tag and twine…and the whole thing was topped off with a “button” from the “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & Tags set.
Next, a fun little basket all ready to fill with Easter treats.  I used the aqua crepe paper and pom-pom trim from the Aqua Ribbon Card, topped with pink Twirly Twine and an adorable, glittery Easter tag.  A couple of charming vintage flower buttons and a crystal brad add just a touch of dimension.  A tag from the Aqua Twirly Twine set and gorgeous Aqua Tinsel on the handle finish off this quick & easy project.
Lastly, a springy watering can, found in the dollar section of Target, makes another fun treat basket for a friend.  First, I wrapped the can with some of the blue gingham print from the “Dimestore Vogue” Paper Sheets & Tags set–just perfect with the rick-rack trim!  A large, pink Bingo card from the Bingo Craft Card set was then used as a base for the rest.  I topped the card with an adorable little trio of ducklings and some of the wording from a vintage children’s book page, aqua pom-pom trim from the Aqua Ribbon Card, Aqua Twirly Twine, and the sweetest white vintage flower button with a crystal brad inserted in the center.  A bit of Platinum Stickles finishes off the card, and that’s it!
Hope you enjoyed these easy-as-can-be projects–I sure had fun making them!
Julie, thank you for sharing such great, Spring-time packaging projects with us!!!
